REDMOND, WA -- Today Microsoft founder Bill Gates purchased the US Constitution, which he described as "an important historical document."
    "It's amazing to think of what the world was like before we had X-boxes and home networking," Gates said. The buy adds to his collection which already includes Leonardo's famous notebook.
    The auction was held in Sotheby's in New York this morning.
