AMHERST, MA -- Artist and Hampshire college student Mark Bowdin captured the essence of the Israel-Palestinian conflict in an area coffee shop performance art event, sources say.
    "It was really quite moving," said Sarah Hansen (freshman, undeclared). "The use a of meat and other edibles really tore exposed the emotional core of the subject, and marked a small ray of hope in this, our darkened world of conflict."
    The Grindstone features local artistic and musical perfomances alongside a variety imported coffee blends in downtown Amherst.
