WASHINGTON, DC -- In a story that has so far markedly failed to capture the public eye, trailing Democratic presidential hopeful Al Sharpton admitted to eating fellow contender Moseley-Braun, in hopes of also consuming her share of the vote in the same move. Moseley-Braun had not been noticed missing.
    Critics derided the revelation as a cheap publicity stunt. "Not only is this short-sighted and a foolish precedent, it's unlikely to change the running place of Sharpton, or for that matter Mosley-Brown," said a Washington-based political analyst.
    Other Democratic rivals reacted tepidly to the news, though it is believed that the Kucinich campaign is already deep in negotiations.
