SACREMENTO -- Prospective California governor Mary Carey said through spokepersons that, if elected, she will provide a racy 12-month calendar of herself to all state residents. Staffers hinted the give-away could be repeated annually.
    "It's not just a calendar," explained Carey on tabloid news show Hard Copy. "It's 12 moments in time, 12 special places of magic, captured in a bottle, to take you away," she continued.
    Reportedly the gimmick was also considered by the Ronald Reagan campaign but quickly shot down.
