Streisand Threatens Veto

MAILBU, CA -- Barbara Streisand, whom on April 3rd sent a letter to key Democratic leaders berating president Bush and urging the Democrats to rally against him, at one point stating, "We have a president who stole the presidency through family ties, arrogance and intimidation, employing Republican operatives to exercise the tactics of voter fraud by disenfranchising thousands of blacks, elderly Jews and other minorities."
Today, however, to the surprise of the Republicans she blasted and the Democrats whom welcomed her message, she further upped the ante by theatening to exercise her veto power, a rarely-used constitutional right of Streisand-review. The motion could possibly crush Bush and his administration in a single blow.
