Milosevic Wonders Where Things Went Wrong April 6th, 2001
BELGRADE -- Slobodan Milosevic, currently incarcerated in the nation he once ruled awaiting trial for a variety of crimes and possibly even transfer to the Hague to face a war crimes tribunal, reminisced on times passed with a reporter in a recent press interview.
"I wonder what happened to the good old days," he said to a London Times reporter in the interview. His fate is largely uncertain, with some old allies still working for him and current Serbian president Vojislav Kostunica weighing the threat of economic sanctions for his extradition. Milosevic suddenly remembered, "Oh yeah, that's right, I had its home burned down in front of it and then shot it in the face."
