Bin Laden Hails "Damn Yankees" Performance April 29th, 2002
WEST OF ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN -- Today wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden hailed an all-militant-Islamic production of Damn Yankees as an "outward, exciting" performance. The play, written in 1955 by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, has enchanted audiences for decades. bin Laden called the cast "sharp, succinct and witty." Hiding out in eastern Pakistan, he even praised set designer Marrahak Abdul Mohammed, who made the show's scenery entirely out of bones and rocks.
He also declared the song and dance numbers "Six Months Out of Every Year" and "Who's Got The Pain When They Do the Mambo" as "a brilliant, shining example of militant Islamic talent."
