WTO Finds Self Nostaglic For Genoa And Seattle

DOHA -- The WTO, ancy about their next meeting that have in the past been slowed by protestors who use placards, chant slogans and shout things was further jittered today when a Qatari man was killed after he opened fire with an AK-47 on security guards at the Udeid Air Base, which is used by US forces participating in the war on terrorism.
The multi-national trade organization had previously been dogged at meetings by huge demonstrations of largely middle-class students who often linked arms to stop traffic. The WTO's next such meeting is in Doha, Qatar, a country located in the Persian Gulf.
"Remember the days when we only had to worry about protestors hurling molotov cocktails at police officers outside?" asked WTO General Council chair Stuart Harbinson, rhetorically. "That was the best."
